The Task

During this WebQuest, you will develop an understanding of what cancer is and its causes, along with its signs and symptoms. Also explored are specific cancer types, such as lung, colon, and skin, as well as commonly used anticancer treatments. This information will be used to created an appreciation and better understand of this disease, which is a prerequisite for the development and implementation of safe massage treatments for cancer patients. 

To accomplish this, a list of question and topics are presented which you will research on the Web using hyperlinks. It is beneficial to include your own additional Web searches. 

As you read about these subjects, you will create an outline for each topic. 

This outline will then be used to compose a well-organized and highly-informative paragraph.  The goal of this paragraph will be a discussion of the topic or an answer to the question. 

These paragraphs are to be turned in as a single word document attached in an email sent directly to me.  My email address is located on the tab labeled TOP on the WebQuest menu.  Be sure to include your name in the SUBJECT line of your email submission.
